Dirty Folk Rock - Album by Jessica ...
Original artwork of my debut comedy folk rock album, Dirty Folk Rock

When I first started performing in the early 2000s, I made a rough and tumble bedroom comedy music album called, “Dirty Folk Rock.” To get the word out, I wrote about it on my blog, which at the time was kind of a novel thing, but I also dropped physical copies in the mail to a handful of editors at different publications, hoping they might write about me. I wrote something resembling a press release that started out with the line, “Do you want to hear some songs about my vagina?”

Bold, much?
