Here Are Some Sample Pitch Decks
But wait, what's a pitch deck again? And why does a comedian need one?
If you’re a comedian, chances are you’ve plotted out your course for months or years from now. It might include a comedy special, a tour, maybe even a TV show or feature film. If you want to pitch and sell your TV show or feature film, you may want to put together what is known in the biz as a “pitch deck.”
A pitch deck is a pretty, shiny combination of words and images that presents what your TV show or feature film is about in a very graspable way to people who are not necessarily wholly creative. Your pitch deck doesn’t just have to just pitch a TV show or feature film, either. It could sell a business idea of any kind. Heck, your pitch deck could even sell you.
