One thing I love to do is combine stand up with any travel plans. It’s not only an easy way to get my name out to an area that might not be familiar with my hilarious hijinks, the travel costs are essentially “covered,” because I’m headed there anyway.

This past week, I knew I’d be traveling to Ocean City, Maryland, so I looked up venues in advance and found a club that looked like it’d be a good fit in terms of vibe and the kinds of performers they often had stop by.
